Om det är så enkelt som beskrivs nedan så är det vansinnigt att man blandar mjölken som svenska mejerier gör:

_Those cows that produce pure a2 Milk are **milked separately** from those that do not. Although a DNA test is used to identify a2 Milk producing cows, no genetic modification is involved in the process, and the tests are non-intrusive to the animals, **requiring only a tail-hair sample.**_  
  
_Thus a2 Milk is simply the milk from cows with a particular genetic makeup, which is the original genetic makeup of cows milked for many centuries as humans took advantage of the nutritional benefits of dairy milk._
