# Dreamfields low carb pasta

hej everyone!

I'm shortly going to be distributing this range of pastas in Sweden ( i'm based in Stockholm).  For those who don't know about these pastas, search under ' Dreamfields pasta' in google........it almost feels too good to be true but i've measured by blood sugar after every meal and 5g of carbs is about right. Even my kids love the taste, which is more than can be said for all the other soya based pasta I've tried.

Anyway , I just wanted to introduce myself and will post again with details in case anyone is interested , as soon as the pasta is available in Sweden .

I've hardly eaten pasta or rice for 5 years and to be honest , desperately miss it......the advantage of this pasta is the drastically reduced effect on blood glucose and hence insulin response. Its a genuine low carb pasta that tastes just like the full carb version ;)

Vi har ju sagt att reklam för sådant som gagnar oss är ok och det är LowCarb även om de flesta av oss avstår från de produkterna. OffTopic reklam är inte ok.

As you may have guessed by now simonb, we aren't really into artificial substitutes for carb rich foods. ![Flört](../tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif)  
If you can get us grass fed beef (and other meats), unpasteurized butter and cheese from grazing cows, poultry that has been raised outdoors on proper food and so on, we will be very interested! ![Glad](../tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif)

Enligt tillverkaren har det ett GI-värde på 12 !!!!

Det är väl mindre än citron..

Jag antog att man hade klämt in en otrolig massa fibrer och protein i det, men det verkar som om man tillverkat (och naturligtvis patenterat) en helt ny sorts konstgjord fiber..

På tal om pasta- jag såg en produkt jag aldrig sett eller hört talas om förut häromveckan: **hampapasta**! Stod inget om innehåll och pastan var grågrön. Hampans fibrer kan man ju göra tyg av, är det verkligen...tja, mat?

Jag betvivlar starkt att något som inte tas upp som durumvete i resten av kroppen skulle smaka pasta. Visst kan jag bli sugen på pasta eller potatis eller något sådant, men faktum är att då äter jag heller originalet än någon slags modifierad produkt som man inte vet vad den gör.

Kommer ni ihåg Olestra, fettet som inte togs upp av kroppen? Dock fick brukarna "anal leakage" (det käckte ut fett genom anus) och det var ju "problematiskt". Vad händer med detta nya påfund, får man undra...
